OUR PRODUCT STANDARDS
sfpmed spans products with very different purposes—from personal mobility and home wellness to power equipment, home improvement and commercial equipment. Our product framework starts by respecting those differences.
OUR APPROACH
There is no meaningful single checklist that can evaluate an electric bike, a massage product, a generator and restaurant equipment in exactly the same way.
Different product categories involve different specifications, operating environments, compatibility considerations and customer expectations.
That is why our framework begins with a fundamental question: what is this product designed to help the customer accomplish?
THE SFPMED PRODUCT FRAMEWORK
The relevance of each area varies by category and individual product, but together they create a more useful way to organize complex product information.
We consider the practical role a product is intended to serve and the type of customer situation in which its features become relevant.
Dimensions, capacity, power, materials, range, compatibility and other technical attributes can become critical depending on the category.
A product should be understood within its own category. The information that matters for mobility can differ significantly from power, fitness or commercial equipment.
Size, assembly, placement, storage, maintenance or other ownership factors may affect whether a specialized product is appropriate for a customer's situation.
Larger products can require additional attention to package dimensions, delivery methods, receiving conditions or other order-specific details. Customers should review applicable product and shipping information before purchase.
CATEGORY-SPECIFIC THINKING
Electric bikes, electric scooters and mobility scooters can involve dimensions, capacity, range, speed, charging, terrain and other model-specific considerations.
Home medical, wellness and massage products should be evaluated according to their individual intended use, specifications and manufacturer information. Product availability on sfpmed does not by itself establish a medical claim or insurance eligibility.
Generators, portable power and power banks can require consideration of output, capacity, compatible loads, operating instructions and the environment in which the equipment will be used.
Fixtures, storage, pools, patio products, building materials and tools often require careful measurement and evaluation of the intended installation or use environment.
Fitness equipment can involve footprint, user capacity, equipment dimensions, assembly and the amount of space needed for safe intended use.
Restaurant and professional equipment may involve dimensions, electrical or other utility requirements, installation considerations and commercial operating needs.
DETAILS BEFORE ASSUMPTIONS
A product name alone rarely tells a customer everything needed to determine whether it is appropriate for a specific situation.
A mobility customer may need dimensions and capacity information. A generator customer may need to understand output. A restaurant equipment customer may need exact dimensions and utility requirements. A homeowner may need installation measurements.
We encourage customers to evaluate the specifications that matter to their intended application instead of relying on category names or generalized claims.
CERTIFICATIONS & PRODUCT CLAIMS
Certifications, testing claims, warranties and regulatory classifications can vary by manufacturer, model and product category.
sfpmed does not treat a certification or claim associated with one product as applying automatically to an entire collection. Where specific certifications or manufacturer claims are relevant, customers should refer to the information provided for the applicable product and supporting documentation.
Likewise, the presence of a product within a health or mobility category should not be interpreted by itself as establishing medical suitability, insurance coverage or eligibility for a particular program.
LARGE & SPECIALIZED PRODUCTS
Larger products can introduce practical questions before they ever arrive: Will it fit the intended space? How is it delivered? Is assembly required? Are there site or utility considerations?
These questions are particularly important for mobility products, fitness equipment, generators, outdoor products and commercial equipment.
Customers should review the applicable product details and shipping terms before ordering a high-consideration or oversized item.
